Va Dimes entered the championship undefeated, survived the only deficit he faced in the second half, and closed Season 1 with a 35–25 victory over Huncho and Georgia.

The No. 2 Longhorns finished 16–0. The No. 5 Bulldogs finished 13–3 after a postseason run that carried Huncho within one game of another College Football Underground crown. For most of the night, the final played like the heavyweight matchup the broadcast promised: a one-score fight decided by turnovers, fourth downs, and one composed Texas drive after another.

Opening strike Texas 7, Georgia 0

The Longhorns scored before their offense took the field

Georgia received the opening kickoff, but its first series ended with the game's first defining play. Texas defensive back Black intercepted Gunner Stockton on third down and returned it for a touchdown, giving Va Dimes a 7–0 lead before Arch Manning and the Longhorn offense had taken a snap.

First half Texas 14, Georgia 10

Georgia answered, but Texas controlled the middle possessions

Huncho settled the Bulldogs after the pick-six. Dwight Phillips broke free on a third-down catch that carried Georgia to the three-yard line, then finished the drive on the ground to tie the game at seven. Texas answered with a patient possession built on short throws, two fourth-down conversions, and a swing pass for the go-ahead touchdown.

The final seconds of the half produced interceptions on consecutive possessions. Georgia converted the last opportunity into a field goal, trimming Texas' halftime advantage to 14–10.

Third quarter Two lead changes

Huncho took the lead—and Va Dimes answered immediately

Texas opened the second half with a long touchdown run to stretch the lead to 21–10. Georgia responded with a deep Stockton-to-Phillips touchdown and a two-point conversion, then used a fourth-down stop to take over in Texas territory. An open RPO touchdown put the Bulldogs ahead 25–21.

That was the moment Texas had to prove its unbeaten season could survive pressure. Manning responded with a touchdown drive, placing a throw along the sideline for the score and restoring the Longhorns' lead at 28–25 before the fourth quarter.

Closing drive Texas 35, Georgia 25

Va Dimes closed like a champion

With a three-point lead in the fourth quarter, Va Dimes refused to give Georgia the quick possession it needed. Texas kept the chains moving with the swing game, converted a critical third down, and stayed in bounds as the clock fell under two minutes. Manning then delivered the final strike for a touchdown and a 35–25 lead.

Georgia had 68 seconds left to respond. Texas brought pressure, forced Stockton backward, and closed the game before Huncho could create one last scoring chance. The early defensive touchdown and the late defensive stand became the bookends of a championship win.

Perfect finish 16–0

The first champion of the 27 cycle

The broadcast framed the matchup as a meeting between two of the Underground's most accomplished competitors. Huncho entered the night chasing another college championship. Va Dimes arrived as the winningest player in Madden Underground history and left with the first CFU national title of the new cycle.

In the postgame conversation, Brian James described the matchup as a rivalry that has shaped the top of the community across multiple games and multiple seasons. This round belongs to Va Dimes: a perfect season, a ten-point championship victory, and Texas on top of CFU.
