Curry headlines the opening drop with a 99 three-point rating. On the athleticism side, Amen Thompson and Tobi Lawal share the summit at 99 vertical, with Ausar Thompson and Cameron Carr close behind at 98.
Anthony Edwards is the first wave’s most complete two-board standout. He is the only player to crack both Top 10 lists, checking in at 92 from three and 97 in vertical leap.

A 99 for Curry—and a wide gap behind him
Curry’s 99 makes him the clear standard in the first release. Knueppel follows at 94, while Duncan Robinson, Luke Kennard, and Damian Lillard form a three-player group at 93.
Cleveland also lands two players in the Top 10. Max Strus and Sam Merrill close the list at 91, giving the Cavaliers two of the highest-rated perimeter specialists in the opening wave.

Amen Thompson owns a share of first place at 99, and twin brother Ausar follows at No. 3 with a 98. Tobi Lawal matches Amen’s top rating, while Cameron Carr rounds out the 98 tier.
The next six players all sit at 97: Edwards, Donovan Mitchell, Andrew Wiggins, Ja Morant, Zach LaVine, and Zion Williamson. That creates a tightly packed group of elite finishers behind the top four.

The attribute ratings rollout began August 3. The larger NBA 2K Top 100 reveal is scheduled to begin August 10, when the conversation shifts from individual skills to the game’s overall player hierarchy.
