LOS ANGELES — Logitech outdid itself at Logitech G PLAY 2026, bringing content creators, professional gamers, NFL players, NBA legends and technology leaders together Wednesday at 57 Windward in Venice.

This was not a typical Hollywood social gathering built primarily around celebrity appearances and restricted access. The event was informative, technology-driven and carried an unmistakable Southern California atmosphere. It was innovative without feeling overly corporate, educational without becoming stiff and cool without trying too hard.

The central idea

A gaming experience tailored to the individual

The theme of the day was personalization: the gaming experience should be shaped around the player and the experience that player wants to create. Logitech demonstrated how its latest keyboards, mice, headsets, software and racing equipment are being developed around that idea.

Guests could move beyond simply hearing about the products. Interactive exhibits made it possible to test the newest gear, compare features and understand how each setup could improve comfort, performance, communication and immersion.

A new generation of competitive gear

Logitech G used PLAY 2026 to mark 10 years of its PRO line and introduce the PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED headset, PRO X2 RAPID keyboard, PRO X CONTROL mouse pad and PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE mouse. Across the venue, those releases shared space with creator tools, accessible gaming equipment and full sim-racing rigs.

Immersive activation

The experience extended beyond the gaming station

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare-themed Polaris activation carried the event's blend of physical and digital play outside. The off-road vehicles, camouflage canopy and game-branded environment turned one corner of the venue into a striking, hands-on photo experience.

The conversations

Gaming culture, competition and technology share the stage

The panel discussions were the strongest part of the program. They brought several sides of gaming into one conversation: competitive performance, traditional sports, youth culture, development, business and the technology shaping what comes next.

With professional racing leadership, platform expertise and a creator's perspective on the same stage, the session showed why racing rigs have become more than a niche accessory.

Technology trends

AI works best as a resource, not a replacement

The standout session was “Technology Trends in Gaming: Redefining the Digital Frontier.” Its clearest takeaway was that artificial intelligence can be extremely useful when it is treated as a tool—not the entire toolbox.

Panelists discussed the potential for AI to help developers spot coding errors, improve testing and distribute patches and updates more efficiently. Used properly, the technology could shorten the distance between discovering a problem and delivering a solution to players. Its value is not in replacing developers or creators, but in helping them work more effectively while opening new possibilities for the player experience.

Community access

The conversation continued after the stage lights

Logitech's keynote speakers added to the sense that the company intends to remain part of gaming's changing landscape. More importantly, the people on stage did not finish their sessions and disappear into a closed VIP section.

Panelists, speakers and executives walked the floor, answered questions and listened to feedback. That included Logitech CEO Hanneke Faber. The access reinforced the event's inclusive tone and gave attendees a chance to continue the conversation directly with people helping shape the products and the business.

USG takeaway A community-first showcase

Logitech G PLAY felt connected to gaming's real pulse

Many companies say they understand the gaming community. Logitech demonstrated that awareness by creating a space where executives, professional competitors, traditional athletes, creators and everyday gaming enthusiasts could share ideas instead of being separated by status.

Overall, Logitech G PLAY 2026 was an impressive event at an ideal location just steps from Venice Beach. It combined useful conversations, hands-on technology, industry access and authentic Southern California energy. Most importantly, it gave attendees more than products to look at. It offered a clearer picture of where gaming is headed—and how Logitech intends to help players personalize the journey.
